Eligible complainants* also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service but FOS rules mean you must give us the opportunity to resolve the complaint & the FOS will not deal until we have sent you a final response letter, or unless we have not responded to your complaint with a decision within 40 days.
* Eligible complainants are:
- Private individuals and
- Micro enterprises (annual turnover of less than €2m & fewer than 10 employees)
